More about this Report
When reviewing the Atlanta home values and market stats, please keep in mind that in additional to low levels of housing inventory, new construction play a big role in the increase of neighborhood home values (i.e. the average sales price). Also, many of the Atlanta neighborhoods with a higher average sales price are starting to see a shift from Seller’s Market to a Buyer’s Market — like Buckhead and Virginia Highland — so home values aren’t rising like they were in previous years. The more affordable neighborhoods with average home prices in the $200s and $300s are still in high demand with first time or second time home buyers…. and the prices just keep rising!
